Parramatta is apartment territory, and apartment cleaning has its own rules: tight handover dates, strata corridors, and carpets that have to come up properly. End of lease cleans and carpet cleaning are what I do most here, at a flat $70 per hour.
Sydney's Second City, and It Cleans Differently
Parramatta was built up to be Sydney's second city centre, and it shows. Office towers, and apartments everywhere around them. Very little of my work here is in houses.
Apartments are not simply smaller houses. The kitchen and bathroom carry almost the entire inspection, because there is nowhere for dirt to hide and the agent knows exactly where to look. Handover dates are fixed by the building, not negotiable, and carpet is usually written into the lease as a professional clean.
That is why end of lease cleaning and carpet cleaning are the two jobs I get asked for most in Parramatta, and why they are usually booked together. Doing both in one visit means one trip, one bill and no second appointment to organise.
I am based up in North Kellyville, about half an hour away, so I plan Parramatta jobs properly rather than squeezing them between other bookings. Give me a little notice and I will give you a full block of time.
